Job Summary Focuses on patient advocacy and delivers quality care. Organizes, implements and evaluates health education programs, targeting the general public, patients and families. Responsible for integrating theory research and critical thinking in the delivery of education on topics related to the prevention and management of health and wellness, while aligning with strategic and community service plans. Job Requirements Education and Work Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Licenses/Certifications • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Essential Functions • Conducts teachings on various healthcare related programs. Analyzes clinical data and creates evidence-based programs. • Partners with allied agencies to provide education to the community and acts as a liaison between programs and agencies. • Reviews programs and educational resources for relevance to ensure program is effective and makes changes as needed. • Communicates effectively with surveyors on the justification and rationale of education programs. Uses clinical data to prove program effectiveness. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
