Description :
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team.
They ensure that patients and their families receive individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care.
This role encompasses a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders.
RN competencies are rooted in professional practice models and evidence-based practice.
All RN Clinical Nurses must be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold nursing practice standards.
They represent the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities include :
Performing the Nursing Process in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
Providing relationship-based patient-centered care.
Partnering with patients and significant others in care planning and delivery.
Coordinating and documenting safe, quality patient care with diverse communication methods.
Demonstrating teamwork and collaboration by promoting a respectful clinical environment.
Supporting performance improvement initiatives and research to enhance patient care.
Completing ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
Participating in the development of protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes.
Being proactive in planning for patient care across the continuum.
Upholding all organizational policies and clinical competencies.
Participating in data collection and addressing clinical questions through evidence-based practice.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Complying with all organizational policies and code of conduct.
