RN Coordinator E.D. - NE | Adult ED | Full Time | Night Shift in Tampa, FL

The RN Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager/Director and providing shift leadership in the Emergency Department 24/7, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. • Supports unit staff and healthcare professionals to deliver age-appropriate patient care. • Utilizes critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to ensure quality, compliance, and positive staff relations. • Provides coaching, mentoring, and leadership to the team, promoting effective resource utilization and change implementation. • Ensures excellent customer service and maintains respectful relationships with patients and families. • Assists with clinical coverage, serves as a clinical expert, and supports staff development and performance evaluations. • Collaborates with the team to improve throughput and represents leadership when needed. Qualifications Current RN license in Florida, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred), and national nursing certification required. A minimum of 2 years in clinical specialty with demonstrated leadership and positive patient care outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills and autonomous nursing practice are essential.
