Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing excellent patient care and achieving favorable patient results by applying nursing expertise with empathy and effectiveness. Operating with oversight, this position advances professional nursing standards by organizing patient care using the nursing process and teamwork across different disciplines. Responsibilities: • Assesses patient requirements and health status in the designated department to deliver appropriate nursing care, guaranteeing each patient receives the necessary attention. • Examines patient data, such as medical background, test findings, and present state, in order to establish personalized nursing strategies. • Prepares nursing procedures, like dispensing medication and therapies, to deliver thorough and efficient patient care. • Verifies medical documents to ensure they align with regulatory guidelines and organizational protocols. • Assesses the patient's reaction to treatments and recognizes the requirement for further interventions to achieve established care objectives. • Works together with a diverse care team to guarantee successful care coordination. • Carries out additional tasks as required. Qualifications: EDUCATION:Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE:Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
