CVICU Registered Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential, as is ensuring that patient goals are met and solutions are implemented for any variances.
Schedule
This role requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with the expectation to work every other weekend and one holiday. Overtime is billable after 48 hours.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner, Impella, and IABP
• Recent open-heart experience is mandatory
