CVICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Cardiovascular Intensive Care patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, specifically from 19:00 to 07:00.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
