Schedule

Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with some call coverage on weekends.

Job Description

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care within all three areas of surgical services: Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU. The RN will function as a primary care giver and must be able to operate effectively in all three areas.

Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments and document care.
• Provide emotional support and coordinate patient transfers.
• Recover patients and circulate surgical cases.
• Assist with processing instruments and equipment in central sterilizing.
• Prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist other staff members and provide patient education.
• Adhere to infection control principles and department policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current Colorado RN licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU.
• ACLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Scrub experience preferred.
