Job Summary and Qualifications The Coordinator ED Flow/Throughput ensures high quality, patient-centered care by facilitating the throughput of patients within the Emergency Department to provide optimum efficiency of department resources and timely management of patient care. The Coordinator evaluates staffing matrix and patient volume patterns to identify optimal staffing schedules. The Coordinator supports patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities that promote the vision, mission, and values of the organization. Experience: Vocational degree in Nursing or EMT/Paramedic Training Program, required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred 2+ years applicable experience, required Basic Life Support (BLS), required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), required Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), required Benefits Parkland Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
