Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) Educator to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH's patient-focused setting.

Summary:
Lakes Regional Healthcare is seeking an Education Support Registered Nurse (BSN) to lead and coordinate clinical education initiatives for our organization and support Iowa Lakes Community College programs. This role is pivotal in developing and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet regulatory requirements and staff development needs. The Education Support RN will collaborate with nursing leadership, mentor staff, and ensure a positive learning environment that enhances patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and implement nursing education programs, CEH activities, and annual skills fairs.
• Support orientation and preceptor programs for new staff.
• Serve as an instructor for applicable courses and maintain IBON Providership documentation.
• Develop educational materials, schedules, and maintain accurate records.
• Partner with nursing leadership and college instructors to mentor nursing students.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current RN license; certifications in BLS for the healthcare provider, ACLS Provider, PALS Provider, NRP Provider, Mandatory Reporting, and TNCC (or ability to obtain promptly). Must be able to instruct a minimum of two education disciplines (ie. ACLS, PALS, etc.) within one year of hire.
• Minimum two years of RN experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
