A healthcare professional is needed to perform nursing and delegated medical functions following state Board of Nursing standards. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to support patient well-being. Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, therapy, treatment, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and monitor patient health status through ongoing data collection and evaluation • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families • Deliver supportive and restorative therapies and treatments, either directly or through supervision and delegation • Execute delegated medical functions in compliance with regulatory standards • Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as necessary • Review and monitor patient therapy and treatment plans • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines • Utilize resources efficiently and effectively • Uphold healthcare mission, vision, values, and service behavior standards • Perform additional duties as assigned, including floating to other departments within qualifications and competencies • May be required to be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts Desired Experience and Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Emergency Room (ER) experience • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills • Ability to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Flexibility to float to different departments and be on-call as needed Location: This opportunity is based in Brighton, Colorado, a vibrant community known for its accessible amenities, family-friendly atmosphere, and growing healthcare sector.
