A skilled Registered Nurse with emergency room expertise is sought for a contract assignment in Charleston, WV, offering a dynamic clinical environment focused on critical care and procedural sedation. This role works primarily nights, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and requires availability every other weekend.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a 5-bed ER unit with additional endoscopy services and diagnostic support
• Manage continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation, including administration and monitoring
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in critically ill patients
• Perform triage assessments and care for ventilated patients
• Collaborate with the clinical team, with potential for floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Adhere to facility protocols including infection control and safety standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience
• Active WV or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in emergency or specialty nursing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fit Test; CPI and TNCC preferred (CPI can be completed through approved vendors if needed)
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, and ventilator care
• Compliance with immunization requirements including flu vaccine unless medically exempt
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Contract Details
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour (7 PM7 AM), every other weekend required
• Contract options: 36 or 48 hours per week with orientation sessions biweekly on Thursdays
• Flexibility to accommodate blocked schedule requests
• Minimum 36 hours guaranteed
