Schedule • 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) • Every other week schedule (EOW) • Holidays as needed Qualifications & Desired Experience • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience • Current RN licensure • ACLS and BLS certifications required • TNCC certification required • NRP and PALS certifications preferred • Experience at STEMI and Stroke-designated facilities required • Previous Charge RN experience preferred • Proficiency with MedHost electronic health records • Experience in a General ED setting combining adult and pediatric care Responsibilities • Provide expert care to adult and pediatric patients in an emergency setting • Perform assessments, interventions, and treatments based on established protocols • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Serve as charge nurse when applicable, overseeing patient care and nursing staff • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards This contract position is ideal for first-time travel nurses looking to gain valuable experience in a well-established emergency department.
