Position Highlights: • Assignment duration: 13 weeks, starting in June • Shift: 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, average 36 hours per week • No floating; rotating holidays with core staff • Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 (general ER), 1:5 (lower acuity), 1:6 (fast track) • Support team includes charge nurses, nurse aides, RTs, and IV team • EMR system: EPIC • Telemetry and ventilator experience required Qualifications & Certifications: • Current RN license with Emergency Room experience • BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips • Comfortable with a 15% pediatric patient load and managing common ER presentations such as chest pain, respiratory failure, and abdominal pain Responsibilities: • Deliver prompt, effective patient care in the busy ER environment • Participate in teamwork alongside in-house hospitalists, intensivists, NPs, and PAs • Maintain high standards of documentation and patient safety • Assist in triage and fast track operations ensuring smooth patient flow This contract role offers a competitive pay structure and a positive work atmosphere that welcomes travel nurses.
