A skilled Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Emergency Department care is needed for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment, supporting a dedicated healthcare team. Location: This position is based in Plainfield, NJ, with the worksite in nearby Flemington, NJ. The area combines suburban living with convenient access to urban amenities, providing a comfortable setting for work and life balance. Schedule and Hours: • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM • Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) are required Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes • Administer medications and treatments according to protocols • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Emergency Department setting • Active New Jersey RN License (must be current at the time of application) • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) • Compliance with flu immunization policy or approved medical exemption • Professional appearance with clean, acceptable-color scrubs This contract role is designed to fit professionals seeking a temporary commitment while enhancing their emergency nursing expertise.
