RN Emergency Room | Saco, Maine in Arundel, ME

An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support a dynamic emergency department in Saco, ME. This 13-week contract role involves a 36-hour workweek, providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced environment that values expertise and patient-centered practice.

Schedule/Hours:
• 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long
• Shift options include 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, 1:00 pm to 1:30 am, and 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Occasional variability in shifts based on patient census
• No on-call responsibilities, allowing for ample personal time exploring the local area

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current and active RN license in the State of Maine
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse and preceptor experience is a plus, though not required

Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to timecard submission guidelines rigorously to ensure timely processing
