An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. This contract position is based in South Charleston, WV, offering a commitment to 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with every other weekend required. Orientation and start dates are held biweekly on Thursdays, allowing for a timely onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive emergency care including continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Perform triage and care for ventilated patients.
• Utilize diagnostic services such as electrocardiography and respiratory monitoring.
• Support endoscopy unit duties and assist in suturing and splint applications.
• Float within clinical scope to meet facility needs as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:
• Active WV or Compact RN License (pending licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the emergency specialty.
• Certifications including BLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (with assistance available for travelers), and TNCC preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts with a flexible and cooperative approach to scheduling.
