In our PRN Float Pool position role you will be supporting our Cleveland Clinic Nursing Institute, supporting nine different hospitals, including Euclid, Main Campus, Hillcrest, South Pointe, Marymount, Medina, Avon, Fairview and/or Lutheran. Performs accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames./liliAssesses and documents patients pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols./liliPrioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team./liliEstablishes and implements plan of care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process./liliMonitors and documents patients condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions./liliEvaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpEducation:/pulliCompletion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing./liliBachelor of Science in Nursing preferred./liliBachelor of Science in Nursing required within three years of hire date./li/ulpCertifications:/pulliCurrent state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)./liliBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required./liliAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required./li/ulpComplexity of Work:/pulliRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision./li/ulpWork Experience:/pulliMinimum two years recent experience in Critical Care./li/ulpWork Requirement:/pulliNo holiday or weekend requirement./liliMust work one shift within first month of orientation and a minimum of one productive shift every 60 days thereafter./liliIncentives for increased flexibility./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliRequires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination./liliRequires standing and walking for extended periods of time./liliMedium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
