RN: ER in Julesburg, CO

Registered Nurse – Critical Access Hospital Location Colorado Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour Night shifts (12×3) Job Description A night nurse is needed to work at a critical access hospital. The position will involve working in the Emergency Department and floating to Medical Surgical areas as needed. The hospital has a capacity of 15 beds, serving patients from birth to geriatric ages. Responsibilities • Provide patient care for a variety of conditions such as COPD, Diabetes, CHF, Cardiac issues, and Trauma. • Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring. • Mix medications independently, as there is no in-house pharmacy. • Maintain a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • A minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse in an inpatient setting. • Experience with cardiac and diabetic drips. • Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, and BLS required. • Active Colorado RN license and certifications must be on file at the time of submission.
