Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards. The Registered Nurse recognizes that each patient is a unique individual and has the right to quality nursing care that ensures mutual goal setting between the Registered Nurse and the patient while protecting patient rights and privacy.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is accountable to the ethical and professional standards as defined in the ANA Code for Nurses and is responsible for recognizing and accepting individual actions and judgments in nursing practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA)
• State Licenses: Michigan
