Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM, Nights
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36, Every other weekend

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to adult and pediatric patients presenting with various acute conditions. The candidate must have experience in inpatient Med-Surg or Emergency Department settings.

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver effective care.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist in various procedures and emergency interventions as necessary.
• Float to different areas within the Emergency Department as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient Med-Surg and/or Emergency Department setting.
• Maine State License/Ability to practice in Maine.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI or similar workplace violence training preferred.
• Experience with Emergency Nursing is highly desirable.
