Night shift, 3×12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Job Description
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic environment. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, utilizing emergency and critical care skills to provide efficient and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
• Triage patients and provide care based on urgency and need.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care and treatment options.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.
• 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• Charge experience preferred.
