Emergency Department Registered Nurse Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts are available overnight and day shifts, specifically 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a. Job Description The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide critical care and support to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and effective management of multiple patients simultaneously. Responsibilities • Perform ESI triage, IV insertion, and manage drips/infusions. • Conduct EKGs and administer procedural sedation. • Handle transports via ambulance and restraining protocols as needed. • Utilize Telemedicine and Telestroke consultations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in an emergency department setting. • At least 1 completed travel contract required. • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS. • EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory. • Charge nurse experience preferred.
