Emergency Room Registered Nurse Location Sanford, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:00 with every other weekend and some holidays required. Job Description The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care for patients across all age groups, with a focus on emergency nursing and trauma treatment. This position requires handling various medical emergencies, performing real-time assessments, and collaborating with a dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality nursing care in an emergency department setting. • Utilize advanced clinical skills for trauma, resuscitation, and emergency interventions. • Monitor and manage patients’ conditions, including those with cardiac and neurological emergencies. • Administer medications andIVs in accordance with established protocols. • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing. • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale. • De-escalation training, such as HWC, CPI, or MAB. • Ability to manage IV therapy, oxygen support, and basic telemetry/EKG.
