Emergency Nurse – Night Shift Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift (7p-7a), with flexibility to cover day shifts, as needed. The typical schedule consists of 7 on, 7 off, with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. Job Description Our Emergency Department consists of a 11-bed Main ED, a 6-bed Fast Track, and a 7-bed Observation Unit. All ED nurses will rotate through these areas regularly, including assignments to Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening. Nurses may also assist with Covid testing and immunization clinics as needed. Responsibilities • Rotate through Main ED, ED Fast Track, and ED Observation Unit. • Participate in triage, quick registration, and entry screening duties. • Assist with Covid testing and immunization clinics. • Provide nursing coverage in various departments as necessary, based on experience and competence. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in the specialty. • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC required. • Conscious sedation certification (obtained through facility after confirmation – $105 fee).
