Emergency Room Registered Nurse – 12 Hour Nights

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma and critical cases. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing strong assessment and clinical skills.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency room setting.
• Assess patients, perform necessary interventions, and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and emergency medical technicians.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and tracking of patient care.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patient situations effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience in a similar volume ER.
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is required.
