Med Surg RN – Night Shift
Location

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; flexibility to float between units is required.
Job Description
The Med Surg RN will coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Responsibilities include floating between Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury units as needed.
Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric populations.
• Participate in patient and family education initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to professional nursing standards in clinical practices.
• Float between assigned medical-surgical units as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• A minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Must hold a current NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency License.
• BSN degree is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown practices is necessary.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Must have the ability to work in a stepdown unit when needed.
• A personal vehicle is required for transportation.
