Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Nurse We are currently accepting applications for a Med Nurse within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Must enjoy working with our residents and families. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. Dental insurance, Disability insurance, Flexible spending account, Health insurance, Life insurance and Vision insurance # Holiday pay with no waiting period Must have current Alabama nursing license or temporary license # Responsibilities of this position include medication administration, computer documentation including assessment of resident's current status, observation and reporting of any change in resident's status to MD/sponsors as necessary, ordering medications from pharmacy, supervision of CNA staff, wound care, collecting and processing lab samples.
