Department: Medical Surgical - Schedule: 3-12 Hour Shifts from 7:00p.m. - 7:00a.m.; every other weekend and holiday - Hospital: Henry Ford Warren - Location: Warren, MI

General Summary

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.| Coordinates with all disciplines for well coordinated patient care under the oversight of the primary RN.| Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.| Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Education/Experience Required
• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:
• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months of hire.
