Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Location Florida Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shifts: Monday to Friday, various hours. Job Description We are looking for a skilled Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality care to patients in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care and be capable of performing various in-home visits, managing medical diagnoses, and ensuring high standards of care. Responsibilities • Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care. • Care for high-risk diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke. • Administer post-operative care. • Perform skilled home visits, typically 6-8 per day. • Utilize OASIS for patient documentation and care plans. • Execute IV skills, wound care, and general medical interventions. • Manage and perform catheter changes, staple/suture removals, and lab draws. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 1 year of skilled home care experience. • OASIS training and experience required. • BCLS certification is mandatory. • Valid Florida RN license or compact license is required. • COVID-19 vaccinated or with exemption form on file. • Flu shot required or declination on file, with mandatory mask wearing at all times. • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.
