Job Description
60% FTE, day/night shift rotation. Weekend rotation and rotating holidays. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at the American Family Children's Hospital located in Madison, WI.
Pay:
• Additional components of compensation may include:
• Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to:
• Use your knowledge of policies, procedures and practices of the state, university, hospital and Department of Nursing as they relate to the operations of the hospital and clinics.
• Bring your knowledge of staffing models and oversee staffing.
• Prioritize workload /assignments.
• Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications
• Associate's Degree in nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing Preferred
Work Experience
• 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience Required
• Previous experience in a formal leadership role (such as Care Team Leader, Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager) Preferred
• Adult and Pediatric experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
• Licensed RN in the State of Wisconsin Required
• CPR certification Required
• ACLS Preferred
• PALS Preferred
