Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in a general ICU setting. Candidates should be proficient in using the Epic electronic medical record system and demonstrate the ability to manage complex patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and manage life-support equipment.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in emergency procedures as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
