Surgical Intensive Care Unit Nurse Location Pennsylvania Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Surgical Intensive Care Unit Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the ICU setting, specifically with adults. Responsibilities include managing patients with complex health needs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities • Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly in cases with dysrhythmias. • Administer IV medications, including titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. • Provide care to ventilated patients and manage their equipment effectively. • Implement and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU role. • Current PA or Compact state nursing license in hand. • ACLS and BLS certifications are required. • Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
