Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3×12.0 hours.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, participating in patient rehabilitation programs, and ensuring effective patient teaching and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
• Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Provide patient information and status for team conferences.
• Document all assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and manage direct patient care.
• Communicate pertinent patient status information to care providers.
• Supervise ancillary nursing personnel and provide guidance.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies.
• Assume charge nursing responsibility as requested.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift.
• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience post-graduation.
• Experience in Stepdown, ICU, or LTAC settings is required.
