As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans that optimize patient health. You will provide bedside nursing care, execute medical orders, and oversee the functions of various support staff. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring effective patient care and facilitating patient conferences. Additionally, you will play a key role in discharge planning and professional development within the team. • Integrate evidence-based knowledge into practice • Delegate and coordinate nursing care tasks and assignments • Facilitate and participate in patient conferences • Identify and address ongoing and discharge teaching needs • Seek out educational opportunities for professional growth • Teach and guide professional and ancillary personnel • Precept and mentor new employees and students • Function as a team leader for patient placement and assignment delegation • Communicate relevant information effectively • Demonstrate organizational skills through effective planning • COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply) Requirements: • 2+ years of ICU experience • Comfortable with floating to ED and Step down • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications • TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN certifications (nice to have) • Travel experience (preferred) • Neuro surgical experience (preferred) • Open heart experience (preferred) • Michigan state nursing license Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
