Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3×12.0 hours.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, as well as orientees.
Responsibilities
• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis of an individualized plan of care.
• Identify teaching needs and goals based on the nursing admission assessment and collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide timely patient information and status during Team Conferences.
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and patient safety.
• Provide direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards.
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation as requested.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
