RN: ICU in Rockport, ME

RN – ICU/Step Down Location Rockport, Maine Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 12-hour shifts, rotating between 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU and Step Down units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with the ability to manage patients with complex needs. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the ICU and Step Down units. • Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary. • Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. • Ensure thorough documentation of patient care and interventions. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and Step Down nursing settings. • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. • PALS certification is preferred but not required.
