6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Job Description

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will care for critically ill patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, STEMI, post-TPA stroke, overdose, and suicide attempts. You will work closely with an available Intensivist and maintain communication with in-house ED physicians and hospitalists.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to ICU patients.
• Monitor and manage patients’ critical conditions and vital signs.
• Assist in assessments, interventions, and treatments as directed by the physician.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to Telemetry or Med Surg as needed, based on unit demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Ability to complete IV and Medication tests on the first day.
• Undergo a physical and drug screen prior to the first day of work.
