Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) III is directly responsible and accountable to the Clinical/Branch Manager for administering and supervising good nursing care in all clinical departments; utilizing a systematic approach to nursing by assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, thus providing continuing health care to individuals, families and communities. The RN III typically works in departments such as Urgent Care, Oncology, and Ambulatory Surgery.
The RN III is responsible for the medical supervision of all other non-RN nursing personnel within the department worked, including, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified and Non-certified Technicians, and Nurse Aides. (RN’s are not permitted by the Ohio Board of Nursing to medically supervise a Certified Medical Assistant.)
