Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): IMC RN Specialty: General Intermediate Level of Care Number of Openings: Shift: Day and Night: 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours:36 (unless otherwise noted): as needed Call Requirements: None Years of Experience: 2 years minimum (should have traveler experience) Float Requirements: will Float to appropriate similar units at IMC level or lower as needed Education & Certifications Required: Required Certifications (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : BLS Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : MMC mandatory onboarding education Unit Information: Number of Beds: 12-beds on the IMC side but the total beds on R9 is 36 Patient Ratios: 1:3 for IMC patients (when floating to the med-surg side it would be 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights) Equipment : Telemetry, BIPAP, Hi-Flow O2, Insulin drips for DKA protocol EMR: Epic Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Must have IMC experience and at least one prior travel assignment at med-surg level or higher . Preferred Skillset/Experience: IMC travel experience preferred. Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
