About the Position
Specialty: RN – Infectious Disease
Experience: 1–2 years of clinical RN experience; infectious disease or isolation care preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA, ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Knowledge of infection control protocols, PPE usage, and antimicrobial stewardship
Description: The RN supports the care of patients with infectious or communicable diseases, including COVID-19, HIV, TB, and others. Responsibilities include isolation care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, patient education on infection prevention, and coordinating with infection control teams. The RN plays a critical role in identifying symptoms, supporting treatment plans, and preventing cross-contamination.
