Registered Nurse (RN), Inpatient Care Center – Night Shift Part Time

Shifts Available: 8:00 PM–8:30 AM

Shift Differential $3 - $4/hr.

About the Role

Are you a compassionate and skilled RN looking to make a difference? At the Blue Ridge Care Inpatient Care Center—an acute hospice facility—we are seeking Registered Nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families.

In this role, you will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, manage patient symptoms, and support families through one of life’s most meaningful journeys. Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, you’ll ensure that every patient experiences care delivered with dignity, compassion, and respect.

What You’ll Do
• Complete initial and ongoing nursing assessments to identify patient and family needs.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration and symptom management.
• Support patients and families with education, counseling, and emotional care.
• Document patient care directly into the EMR at bedside.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality and continuity of care.

What We’re Looking For
• Current RN license in Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospice, home health, ICU, or CCU (preferred).
• CHPN certification (preferred).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and EMR documentation skills.
