RN Inpatient - Nights in Rossford, OH

36 hours per week; 7:00 p.m. - 7: a0 p.m. Qualification Requirements • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing; BSN preferred. • Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing. • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, with 1 year of experience in an acute setting preferred. • Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Netsmart system preferred. • Possesses clinical expertise related to critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills. • Possesses the ability to provide basic and skilled nursing care, set priorities of care, and appropriately assess limits of intervention. • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care issues. • Has the ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team. • Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. • Must be CPR certified according to the American Heart Association CPR standards. • Understands the hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, concepts of pain/symptom management, and adult teaching/learning principles.
