Interventional Radiology Nurse Location California Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 4×10-Hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30) with on-call requirements including weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience with neuro thrombectomies and will be responsible for patient care in the Interventional Radiology lab. Responsibilities • Provide care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. • Assist with pre- and post-procedure assessments. • Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage sedation levels. • Administer medications as needed and monitor for adverse reactions. • Document patient care using Sunrise Allscripts and McKesson. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum two years of experience in Interventional Radiology. • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required. • Experience with a variety of interventional procedures including angioplasty, gastrostomy tube placement, and nephrostomy. • A valid California nursing license is required at the time of submission.
