7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Job Description
The position involves providing quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients in the Radiology Department. Responsibilities include assessment, communication, teaching, and leadership in managing patient nursing care across various radiology specialties such as Diagnostic Radiology, Special Procedures, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Responsibilities
• Assess and ensure quality nursing care for patients in the Radiology Department.
• Handle unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures.
• Develop clinical protocols, policies, and procedures governing radiological interventional procedures.
• Coordinate total nursing care for patients and engage in patient and family education.
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Be familiar with and uphold the patient’s bill of rights.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2+ years of current experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred; Conscious/Moderate Sedation experience may be considered.
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
