RN - Interventional Radiology (PT- 0.5 FTE, Variable Shift) in Bozeman, MT

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required
• Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS
• American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
• 2 years Critical Care nursing experience including proficiency with interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings
• Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
• Competent in providing Moderate Sedation experience

Preferred
• Prior Interventional radiology/Vascular Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab experience

Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses. Emotionally challenging situations, such as dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
