L&D RN (Family Birthplace) – Nights Location Maryland Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule / Shift 3×12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 – 07:30), every other weekend and holidays as required. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our Family Birthplace team for night shifts. The L&D RN will be responsible for providing care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, including high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns. • Monitor fetal health using electronic fetal monitoring. • Assist in delivery and postpartum care including C-sections and VBACs. • Perform triage and coordinate care during labor and delivery. • Educate patients and their families on maternal and newborn care. • Participate in unit meetings and quality improvements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience required. • Active RN license in the state of Maryland. • Current certifications in BLS, NRP required; ACLS, STABLE, FHM, and AWHONN preferred. • Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
