Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Location Berlin, VT Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts are 12 hours long, rotating between day and night shifts. Job Description The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This role includes working in a dynamic environment and managing labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessments. Responsibilities • Provide care to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. • Perform assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record. • Assist in neonatal resuscitation and provide care for newborns. • Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor. • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning. • Manage any medical/surgical overflow as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, including LDRP experience. • BLS and NRP certifications required. • ACLS and PALS (or PEARS) certifications preferred. • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
