7 PM – 7 AM; every third weekend required

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Women’s Services department. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in maternal and newborn care, including labor and delivery, as well as experience with pediatric and gynecological patients.

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients.
• Support laboring patients through delivery in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health using advanced equipment and practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, and maternal health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatric, and Gynecological nursing.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHON Fetal Monitoring.
• Charge experience preferred.
