Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location

Assignment Duration
This is a temporary position with an assignment of 8 weeks.
Schedule
Nights (7 PM – 7 AM), every other weekend required, with call shifts twice during the scheduled period.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role demands the utilization of the Nursing Process in accordance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active Arkansas or multistate license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Postpartum experience preferred.
