Schedule
Varied 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for days or nights based on schedule needs. Shifts may occur from 0700-1930 or during the night hours.
Job Description
This position is in an LDRP unit that manages OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. The role involves applying the nursing process within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, while teaching patients and their support persons and documenting patient care in the medical record.
Responsibilities
• Manage OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.
• Utilize OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records.
• Teach patients and significant others about care and procedures.
• Document patient care effectively in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current fetal heart monitoring certification (required).
• Experience with OBIX and EPIC systems (highly preferred).
• Current certifications in EFM and STABLE (highly preferred).
• Oregon nursing license is required; must be willing to obtain if not currently active.
